2. Our tools and academic responsibility
Our GPA Calculator, Word Counter, Citation Generator, Study Timer, Unit Converter and Grade Average Calculator are provided free of charge, "as is," calculated based on information and settings you provide. They run locally in your browser; we do not store the values you enter.
These tools are study aids, not a substitute for your institution's official records or your instructor's specific requirements. In particular, our Citation Generator produces a starting draft citation that should always be verified against your required style guide before submission, and our GPA and Grade Average calculators use standard scales that may differ from your specific institution's official scale. You are responsible for verifying any output against your institution's official requirements before relying on it for graded or official purposes.
3. No warranty
The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy or fitness for a particular academic or institutional purpose.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudyThorne and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its tools, including any academic outcomes related to a calculation or citation generated using our tools.

The Site's design, text, graphics, logo, and underlying code are owned by StudyThorne or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The Site may display third-party advertising, including through Google AdSense, and may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site or advertiser.
